I just registered for this 2-day event up in Danville. I noticed a few Tarheel members on the list as well. Who all is going to be there? Where is everyone staying?

I was thinking about just commuting both days. George Bowland is signed up; I really want to see the Shark run.

I am staying up there. We are staying at the Best Western. I believe the rate is $65 per night which is the event rate.

If you decide to stay.Triad has a standing deal with Best Western.Rooms are Suites (doubles or Kings) and $65 a night if you mention Triad Sports Car Club. This is one of the most racer friendly establishments I have every dealt with. They bent over backwards to accomodate us last weekend including, opening the pool after hours, donating the banquet room for our meal ,allowing us the use of the kitchen, and even donating an extra room..

Yes. The rooms are very nice for $65. Having the banquet hall for Anthony and Suzannes wedding party was great and I could not believe it when I heard the hotel provided it free of charge. If you are going up there I highly suggest you stay there.

I'm going, but don't know where I will be staying. I'll probably drive up early Saturday morning.

It looks like this will be a great wram-up for the NCAC, especially for STS2. Five of the six drivers registered for STS2 at Danville are competing against each other in the NCAC.

Unfortunately, I think I'm out. :( We are planning on celebrating Emma's birthday on the 15th.
