Head trauma? Did I miss this news somewhere else? What happened? Is he gonna be OK?

No you didn't miss it anywhere. The day after the rallycross he got thrown off of an ATV onto the road in our development. He has a concussion and small fracture in his skull. It has not been a fun past week as you can imagine but he will be fine. Sorry to hijack this thread.

I'm glad the prognosis is good! We all wish him a speedy recovery!

Scott

Congratulations to all the 2006 trophy-getters...and especially to my H-Stock "partner in crime"! :)

Big thanks to you guys for all your hard work and number crunching!!! It's been a great season.

Thank you indeed! Great work producing it, and so quickly after the last event too.

I do, however  , note some tied on points positions further down the fields that look like they haven't been resolved yet? Just to nitpick fine details, you understand... :D

SM: Chris Landi (5th) and Chris Suich (6th) both on 12 points. Chris Landi has one 3rd, Chris Suich has two 3rds, shouldn't those be in the other order?

TIR: Pitch Woolfolk (3rd) and Kathleen Ide (4th) both on 7 points. Since neither has any 3rd place finishes or higher, the tie should stand?

X: Eric Peterson (3rd) and Keith Quistorff (4th) both on 25 points. Since both have exactly one 1st, one 2nd, and one 3rd place finish, the tie should stand?

In addition, since Chris Suich has run four events in each of two classes, he will need to choose whether to finish 2nd in TIR or 6th (or 5th :) ) in SM?

(Why, yes, I am fascinated by the intricacies of season points, why do you ask?)

Sounds like you need a Staff position for 2007!

Based on the rules, you should be correct on all counts. Thanks for auditing the results. I admit that I hadn't gone much beyond first place (and was ignorant of our own rules for the tie-break, where I was also counting 4th, 5th, etc).

Just out of curiosity, has anyone compiled a list of the overall Pax averages throughout the season? I just wanted to see if I have improved since last year. :car:

thanks!

Based on each driver's five best PAX finishes (less than 5 events excludes a driver from the calculation), I came up with the following:

………………… …………………… Event #1 Event #2 Event #3 Event #4 Event #5 Event #6 Event #7 Event #8
Best5PAX AVG/ Driver/ Laurinburg Sanford Danville Sanford Greenville Greensboro Danville Laurinburg
3.4/ Mike Whitney/ 3 5 5 2 () () 33 2
3.8/ Scott Johnson/ 1 () 2 4 2 10 () ()
4.4/ David Spratte/ 20 3 () 12 5 16 1 1
5.0/ Dustin Fredrickson/ 6 6 4 9 1 40 14 8
6.6/ Matt McGrain/ 4 1 12 () 6 15 10 ()
8.0/ Eric Peterson/ 2 19 9 5 () 5 () ()
8.0/ Chris Brown/ 12 17 6 11 8 29 () 3
9.0/ Keith Quistorff/ 13 21 11 16 4 () 11 6
9.4/ Les Davis/ 42 13 14 8 7 35 9 10
10.4/ Jim Pastorius/ 10 25 21 7 10 36 4 ()
