It doesn't look like the following has been enforced:

Qualifications for a year-end trophy:
1. Must be a THSCC member who paid by the cutoff date.
2. Must have run at least 5 THSCC points events.
3. Only best 6 results count.

Who's it not enforced for? I do make mistakes, and am happy to correct them, or were you offering to correct them?

Just because you accumulate season points doesn't mean you will get a trophy...

Am I correct that you included anyone with 4 events to date?

That is correct. If they have run 4 events, the've done nothing that disqualifies them from a trophy spot. They just *have* to attend the event this weekend.

That leaves a bunch of classs that still have some room for movement:
AS is going to the wire between Rick Butters and Tom Osetek. A win for Tom results in a dead heat (the tie break is even).

Tie

DS is a lock for Chuck Branscomb, if he comes to the event.

Win for Chuck

Quote:
ES is another close battle. Chris Brown is leading Keith Vail, but if Keith wins, then it's a tie for the season (even the tie break is all even).

Keith made it easy, he didn't show up. He must have been up late watching the F1 race live. Lazy people use DVR's, and we know Keith isn't lazy.

Quote:
HS is another close one, with Bernie holding a narrow 3 point lead over Mary. If Mary wins the event, then they tie, but Mary wins the tie-break (more first palce finishes).

Bernie won unoppsed.

Quote:
DM looks like it will go to Chris O if he comes to the event.

No DM trophies this year.

Quote:
SM is a great one with Chris Lanier holding a slim lead over Stephen Westerfield. There are several scenarios that put Stephen into first. Stephen has to finish ahead of Chris (duh) by *either* winning the event, or by finishing 2nd and having Chris finish 4th or lower. If Stephen is 2nd and Chris is 3rd then the tie-breaker goes to Chris (more 2nd place finishes).

Chris Lanier wins the championship. Stephen almost lost 2nd place, but my numbers have him winning the tie-break.

Quote:
STS2 will go to Todd Breakey or Jim Feinberg. Winner take all. Jim has to show at the event though, or he won't qualify for a trophy.

Todd's the winner, with Rebecca in 2nd.

Quote:
STX could go to leader David Frankel, or PJ Aspesi, but PJ sold his STX car, so I won't hold my breath on that one.

PJ wimped out, so David wins uncontested.

Quote:
TIRE: Jasper Pollard, the current leader, has 11 points, so about anyone could catch him depending on the weather.

Jasper gets first place in tire (assuming my membership list is correct).

Quote:
X Class: Scott Johnson has a 34-28 lead over Matt McGrain. Matt has to win the class to have a shot at the season trophy. If I finish 3rd or better, Matt is out. If I finish 4th and he gets first then we have a tie and Matt wins the tie break.

Scott and Matt stayed home, so there was no change in the standings. Keith closed the gap on 3rd place Eric P., but I think Eric wins the tie-breaker.

David Spratte appears to have earned the Top Gun award with his 2nd FTPAX of the season. Nice driving David!

Thanks Bernie he came home yesterday but head trauma is not a fun thing to have to deal with, so it is a bit of a road to full recovery still.

The final 2006 Season Points Standings are now up on the website.

Congratulations to all the 2006 trophy-getters...and especially to my H-Stock "partner in crime"! :)

I gotta tell ya, that's a incredibly nicely formatted and presented file with obvious huge amount of work in it. Kudos to you and to Scott for your excellent work!!

Thanks, Mike. I'll take a small amount of the formatting credit, but the **huge** kudos go to Scott for all the work he had to put in with the drivers and their event numbers--multiple times!!

PS--Excel is our friend. :)

Thank you for the "gift" Emmie. Hopefully you'll be back next year, I need more tutoring. We missed you and Carl at the Mini setups and evening meals.

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

No you didn't miss it anywhere. The day after the rallycross he got thrown off of an ATV onto the road in our development. He has a concussion and small fracture in his skull. It has not been a fun past week as you can imagine but he will be fine. Sorry to hijack this thread.
