Does anybody want to share a hotel room this Saturday night? I'm staying in Sanford after Les and I set up the course.
Hampton Inn, no smoking room, double beds. Your half will be about $35.00.
No drunks or perverts - That eliminates Vincent and/or Ryan!

It's not the actual set up thats going to take them so long. It's the testing to make sure that it "flows" good.

Hey, look at who you are talking about, just because Walter is slow doesnt mean he isnt a valued member of the club.

Walter, I call your Oil Filter joke and raise you an old man joke and a slow joke.

Give Walter 10 free runs on his own course and he'll still get beaten by someone named Westerfield! :P

It's 10 cones, not 5!
OK, how about, "Don't let Ryan drive the new bus"!
Regarding the old man comment - I'll stick to my wife's philosophy, "You are only as old as the woman you feel". That makes me 34. According to court records, that would make Ryan 13.
Hum - Scott, you have a valid point!
Yeah, but not both Westerfields at the same autocross. I know neither of them would ever "test" a course.
I make up for being slow by being loud. At least it sounds fast.[/i]

I'm sure Ryan will chime in to correct Walter's statement, but I'll do it for him.

Her birthday was last month, so she isn't 13 anymore.

I can come down Saturday afternoon and test the course, and verify you have those 10 cones 150ft apart

150 ft apart? I thought 1320 ft apart would be good. Zero to about 113 mph in about 12.5 seconds, slow, turn around and back another 1320 ft.

Back to the actual topic - Let me know if anybody else is driving down Saturday evening and wants to share a room. At my age, I don't want to drive back to Greenville Saturday evening and leave for Sanford before 6:00 a.m. I need my sleep to try to beat at least one Westerfield, most likely the one not on new R compounds!

Yeah, but then your car will have to:

1) slow
2) turn

The Camaro excels at neither :)

yeah, but the Camaro would have plenty of time to slow and turn, maybe grab a snack & a drink from the pits, before the Miatas caught up. :D
