Sanford will be no faster than Danville was last Sunday!
Don't worry about a "conefest". When one is only using 10 cones, you shouldn't hit too many!
Leaving the runway at Sanford isn't too bad, except for a few places that are really bad. We'll avoid those and hopefully keep everyone on the runway.
We may not be able to design a course as good as Danville, but we are trying. The narrow taxiway with deep ditches and narrow crossovers make it harder. The sealer is a problem too.
Our dash plaque won't compare to Mike's either.

i'm count'n on ya Walter. looks like ASP for me this event. Bernie? Chris? i've got no shot for season points in TIR so what the hell.

Wow! Congrats Les on the FTD. Awesome job. I don't think the extra 50 hp my car is making now and new tires will help catch up to you.

Jeff

Thanks Jeff. 50 extra HP!!! Damn! Weren't you making like 185 whp before, so you have like 235 whp now?!? I guess you finally got all your issues worked out? Thats awesome, I bet your car seriously rips now. New tires and 50 extra HP certainly won't hurt, well, at least once you get used to it. Hopefully it won't help enough for you to catch me. You gonna be in Sanford next month? You know you gotta let me drive your car again right? :D

Les,

I was making about 170whp with a leaky intercooler hose. Now I'm putting down just over 220 to the wheels. A new hose, S/C upgrades, and tuning session made a big difference. I was tempted to go for more hp, but decided to see how much I like 220+ hp, first.

Hey i'll let you try it out, no problem. It drives much better than the last time you tried it in New Bern. The car is a lot of fun now, but I must say I recently drove a 300+ whp s2000 and that thing was stupid fast compared to my car.

Jeff

Dang. This was the one autox I didn't want to miss this season. Now you guys are bringing your vettes out to top it off. I am supposed to be at a wedding shower/party Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in Rock Hill. It will be tough to bail on it considering the bride and groom are two of my best friends. Anyone know how long it takes to get to Sanford from Rock Hill? Or the best route? Maybe if I take it easy on the "partying" part Saturday night I can make. If I show I will run ASP with you guys.

Dan made the transition over from AWD to high hp RWD nicely. I am sure you would do fine.

Except Dan is tall enough to see over the steering wheel in an F or Y-body car.

I'm signed up in ASP. Come on Bernie let the girls fight it out in the Mini(s).

Chris if you can make it that would be great too.

You all will do fine, since Graham has become a track snob, he no longer can figure out what to do when he sees a cone. He'll probably scream, spin the car, and then wish he drove a "girlie" car :P
