if the strait is 1/4 mile or so then plowing cones would not negatively impact my time overall. i like that plan Walter.

one of the truest autoX analyses i have heard is " at this level neither the car or the course are as important as the driver"

don't forget a few turn-arounds.... the f-bodies roll through those nicely!!!

Hey, the tightest "AX" element I ever saw was a big "VEE" shaped cone column at an NCCC (corvette) event. It was so tight, I had to almost come to a complete stop to get through it.

Go ahead and design a vette course, At the end of the day it is the driver (Hack) that counts.

Come on Les bring the GTO. Heck, splurge and use 15 cones if the girlie car driver in you wants more cones

Anybody got some wheels with race rubber that will fit on the GTO I can rent? :D

Hey, I'm all for turn-arounds as long as it's physically possible to get through without backing up. ;) (I say that because if it's barely possible, there'll be a 2-second twisted piece of orange plastic you'll be replacing all day. )

Seriously, I don't mind a tight course. I kind of like them. As long as someone doesn't bring some small and nimble girlie car like a GTO  to F Stock, "tight" is the same for everyone. (Go on, bring the GTO! I want to see what it can do.)

But heck, if Walter can get his beast through it, the rest of us surely can. Well, as long as it doesn't require lighting up the back tyres and spinning 180 degrees with the front pinned, SM does that so much better than FS...
