Families bringing small children to Danville on Sunday please reply here! I would like to know who and how many to expect.

As last time, we're going to keep this informal. It worked out pretty well.

I would like to ask for one volunteer who will be there on Saturday to set up an area for us to park in on Sunday morning. Set up cones to mark off the Family Area. Again, the organizers ask us not too "hog" too much area close to the front of grid.

If at all possible, please pick a location where we might be able to park more in a circle or at angles to a central "play" area. Possibly a corner area or an "infield" grassy area. I think we improve over how we had it set up at Sanford. At Danville there should be plenty of good areas to choose from.

Also if anyone has any special needs or requests, or anything notable they will be bringing, post here.

Kendra and Nathan will be coming, and we'll have just our usual assortment of stuff -- open trailer, wagon, EZ-up, and blankets.

We will take care of it for you during set-up.

Sally, Meghan and I will be there this weekend (barring any unforseen illnesses). We'll have a trailer and EZ up as well.

One of the folks there on Saturday should call back home and report on the height of the grass. If it isn't cut I'm more than happy to bring a weed eater and/or a mower so we can clear out an area.

Tonya, Corbin, Corbin's Grandma, and myself will be there.

We'll have a trailer and an EZ up.

We may bring a little sun tent. I haven't unpacked it yet, so I don't know how many it can hold at one time.

Rebecca the girls and I along with Vicki and her brood will be there. We have our "EZ Up" but it isn't very "easy" to put up.

Scott, the grass has recently been cut. I was out there late Friday to help set the course up for Saturday's school and the infield areas looked very nice.

If it hasn't been said already, the family area kicked ass at Danville! I think we should do it like that from now on!

I ended up with someone's 2 green bungee cords from the Canopy City. They're nice long ones with the plastic ends. Anyone claim them?

Agreed, I thought this format worked really well. Some of it may have to do with the ideal pit/grid/course layout at Danville, but was great nonetheless.
