VMSC has three events in the next few weeks (May 28th, June 4th and June 18th) at the Richmond International Raceway. It is a large newly paved asphalt lot.

Have you heard whether this is the lot in front of the "convention center" or where they park the NASCAR vendor trailers?

Looks like they are using Parking Lot C. Access is via Gate 2 off of Laburnum Ave.

Needed to scrub in some new V710's so I went up to the VMSC event this past Sunday at RIR.

The site is about the site of the RBC site. The pavement is brand new. Plenty of fenced off spectating areas and a lot of shade trees makes for a nice site. The courses are in the 32-34 second range, with a 20 second overlap. That allowed 6 runs and on the road by 3:45.

They average two events per month up there, so if you are in the area, I would highly recommend it.
