Oh no! Please don't tell me you are going to join the family sedan crowd.
Nah. She would kill me if I busted her car goofing around-- which is quite likely with that car at this point.
Kristin and I were going to run the rally cross with it before she had to work at the last minute. I figure on the dirt, the drive train would be a lot less likely to self-destruct.
It was at that time that I realized how similar her car is to Kevin's. They both weigh ~3000lbs, they have nearly the same displacement and subsequently hp + tq ratings (even though the BMW is a 6-cylinder and the Scoobie is a big honkin' 4), they are both awd although Kevin's has an extra rear lsd (if I'm not mistaken) and through the magic of final drives, nearly the same gear ratios. The only major differences are the center diff has a much different default split and the wheel/tire sizes are bigger on the Scoobie. Oh, and the BMW tends to eat it's center diff quite often, especially under heavy loads. Kind of a big downside to racing it on pavement...
Anyway, I guess I could get some practice in the awd Laser I just got from Les. Speaking of cars that spit out expensive parts under stress...

But, in the end, I'll just do what I always to: show up with no practice and wing it!
