Eric had suggested to me that we get some of that fexible orange errosion fencing to literally 'corral' Kelly! While it sounds funny.....it might not be a bad idea. I'm not sure we have too many kids in her age range for whom this would be appropriate, but it sure would be nice for her to have an area in which to play without having to run after her as she walks herself right into the line of traffic! Again, may not be the most practical solution, but thought I would share the idea.

It looked like it worked well for you guys. That's good. The fire ants could be a problem. I hope you can always find a place to set up away from them. Laurinburg is the worst.
One unsupervised kid was riding his bike in grid. I'd rather not have to dodge a kid driving up to the start.

I just had a few idea to throw out...

1. If this takes off and you get kids from people that are not part of the regular bunch, you could have a sign in sheet with kids names, parents names, etc.

2. Write kids names on masking tape and put on the back of their shirts if you can't remember their names. :)

3. Ask each parent to bring a FRS radio. Kiddie Corral could then call out to parent if kids have a problem ("I want my mommy!!"). Obviously use a different channel than T&S.

4. First aid kit (probably already covered)

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.
