Both courses were a blast. Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

It's been said before, but THANK YOU everyone who put this on - it IS a lot of work, and your efforts are VERY VERY much apreciated.

Now as for the lack of grip - when a Miata can kick it's a$$ end out on the 1-2 shift, with a soft clutch, you KNOW that
1) it's freakin cold and there's no grip
2) you should have actually put your Hoosiers on instead of running year-and-a-half old Azenis
3) all of the above

Again, THANK YOU organizers and staff!

Indeed, excellent, excellent! event. Thanks very much to everyone who helped make it such a good time. I came away having achieved all my goals for testing and tuning. There's no greater success for a Test 'n' Tune than that. I'm ready and eager to run for points. :D

I never really had a problem with traction that wasn't obviously driver-induced. I did suffer from some fairly heavy understeer at times on the fast course in the morning, but that all went away on the tight course in the afternoon with a couple more psi in the fronts. That was a great course for transitional handling, which is where I wanted to put the most work. Developed a real feel for the new tyres, my first time on r-comps, major fun.

I still don't think I'll be a threat to Jim at the points event, but the TnT gave me just what I needed to perhaps be close enough behind to stop him being too lazy...

We were dissappointed we couldn't be there. The builder of our garage had our tire trailer shed all blocked in with excavated dirt from our driveway so we couldn't get anything out. Also they are in the final stages of the build where a lot of last minute decisions needed to be made by me and they worked thru that weekend, so I needed to be available.
