i don't think my group was on the long course very long but i can't remember why. i suppose i am overthinking the the whole situation. i would like to see something to reduce the inherent confusion of being a first or second time autoXer just not sure what or how.

not the answer you were looking for i know. especially considering how distasteful you find those that bitch without offering a solution. but i will continue to ponder on it. steve

That looks like DIBs on NOVICE Event co-chair for next year to me!! :)

I will help as well. I will help on anything ;)

Here, here. One of the Nov Coord positions for next year is open. See your Autox VP and sign up. Operators are waiting. Call now

Uh, two Novice Co-ordinator positions. My track, time, and equipment budgets will only allow me to attend 1/2 the events so better to have 2 full-time NC's.

I too, want to thank everyone for their help with the mentor program last year. Once we finally got Novices toagree that they would benefit from an experienced AX'er, we could almost always find someone willing to help.

Thanks to all of you

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

Which one of you gentlemen is stepping down? I don't mind helping as I should have been more helpful this year :(

I notified the officers a month or so back. 2006 is dedicated to track events. Can't keep up with both in hardware/dollars/time. I'll make a couple of autox events for fun inbetween my track schedule.

Rob has also decided on which way he is going. I just didn't want to speak for him.

So both positions are open.

We have some documentation we wrote up on various things that we'll put together and pass on to the officers.

Personally speaking I think a mix of 1 person who has a few-several years of experience and 1 who has only a year or two makes a good mix. One has been around to see various changes and the other still has being a Novice fresh in their mind.

Graham
