It's about time.

Plus, I never understood how the RSX-S and non-S were in the same class either.

At least I don't have to beat Charlie and Matt anymore! Those two are going way to fast. They were making me spend money to win (it's all about fresh tires...)

Ahhh, but take a lookee at the boost proposals. Now you get to up the boost. The STI and EVO should have more power to play in BSP. I think THSCC could be fun with Rob Harvey getting to play with the AWD guys.

I cant figure this one out. They move the Saturn but leave the Cavalier/Sunfire. Hell most would say the Saturn is BETTER.

Explain to me how they ended up moving the RSX non-Type S to HS but left all of the other non-ITR Integra's behind in GS. None of them hold a candle to the Mini S. Take a look at the Triad results from last weekend, Per was kicking ass and taking names. They moved the 200SX SE-R to HS and I would take a 3rd gen GS-R over that any day. Why do they only do partial house cleanings like that?

For reclassing like this, cars get moved for one reason and one reason only.

Member requests.

People (SCCA Members) wrote letters to the SEB and asked for the cars to be moved. Evidently no one was asking for the Integras, Cavaliers/Sunbirds to be moved.

I'm inclined to agree that all those cars should go to HS. The Integras are the only one's I'm not so sure about. On paper, the GSR is a pretty good match for a Celica GTS.

Oh, so you think it takes ECU allowable changes to affect boost.... interesting. I think some STU THSCC AWD/Hackers will surprise you in 07, if not earlier... who knows... ;)

Ohhhh dear, let me guess, you figured out that removing all the restrictions in the exhaust gave you more boost (creep). Damn, you are a genius.

Can we get you to start working on a cure for cancer next?

Your not the first turbo car in the club.... [/sarcasm]

No, I didnt figure anything out... like all hacks, I copied stuff that was already there ;)

Cancer... not my field... besides, would you want a hack working on cancer? ;)

No... the ruling to move the AWD turbo cars to BSP with 'allowable' boost mods via ECU makes me wonder if there is soon going to be an exclusion for the AWD turbo cars in the ST* class. We are not allowed to remove *all* exhaust restrictions due to needing a terminating cat, and we can only run 245 Steet Tires (traction limit), but I still see it as an ESP car in STU clothing.

I am just interested to see how it will play out. It's a new scenario for me to ponder, and thank you for taking that post correctly ;)

I knew where you were going and all the powers that be know what happens when up open up the exhaust of a turbo car be it stock, ST* or other.

The can of worms is open and I dont think they realize some of the ramifications.

I kinda wish I still had my AWD DSM. Unlimited boost would put me at a power level somewhere equal to a STi/EVO (stock form).

Actually I never said that. I guess AWD hacks are about as talented as we give them credit for.

I was actually starting to come around to the concept that it might not be all car, then I get some sense slapped back into me. Thanks for the wake up call. :)
