It is a great day to be an F-Body owner. :drunkin: The mullets are very happy.

Now they get to play in the Piccone/Newhart sandbox. Been there, done that, no thanks :)

Oh, so you think it takes ECU allowable changes to affect boost.... interesting. I think some STU THSCC AWD/Hackers will surprise you in 07, if not earlier... who knows... ;)

Actually I never said that. I guess AWD hacks are about as talented as we give them credit for.

I was actually starting to come around to the concept that it might not be all car, then I get some sense slapped back into me. Thanks for the wake up call. :)

No problem, man! :D

Sometimes, with all these rules changes and 'work arounds' (which are always apart of racing), it just makes me wish there was a real 'this and this only' system so all the variables could be taken out of the equation.

Oh well. :)

Good luck with the new child! Let us know when the baby shower is ;)

- Saturn DOHC models from GS to HS

I cant figure this one out. They move the Saturn but leave the Cavalier/Sunfire. Hell most would say the Saturn is BETTER.

Explain to me how they ended up moving the RSX non-Type S to HS but left all of the other non-ITR Integra's behind in GS. None of them hold a candle to the Mini S. Take a look at the Triad results from last weekend, Per was kicking ass and taking names. They moved the 200SX SE-R to HS and I would take a 3rd gen GS-R over that any day. Why do they only do partial house cleanings like that?

I acutally submitted a request to move the Intergra GS/LS down to HS as well as the Del Sol Vtec, but oh well...

Did your request make it out to comment or addressed by the SEB?

I sent it to the SEB and asked them to consider/add it to the current proposal with all the cars they were adding to HS from GS.

When did you send it?

Did you get a reply?

If you did not get a reply (with a "case number" of some sort) then it's safe to assume they didn't even read the letter. If you sent it recently, it was way too late for consideration in this round of moves. It could get considered for next year.

From what I hear, letters for rule/classing changes often have to be sent 3 or 4 times before they get processed right (just an observation, not a comment about the system).

I can't confirm it, but I think letters that have a member number attatched to them get higher priority (David - are you an SCCA member). Someone who isn't a SCCA member really has no business asking teh SEB for anything.

I petitioned once last year to move the CSVT from ESP to DSP, got an acknowledgement, and it passed with member comment. Who did you send the email to? seb@scca or to a real person?

seb@scca.org and I did not get a reply that it was recived. I sent in a request to move the Del Sols from CSP to DSP and that was changed but I never did recived and aknowledgement of that one either, and I was not a member od the scca at the time.
