Our November non-points event has been re-scheduled a week earlier to Sunday October 30. The event will be held in Sanford.

Details:
Normal price
Normal schedule

Entry limit will be 100 drivers. We have less light, and want to have more fun!

Anyone who who helps at the Viper School on Saturday the 29th will get a free pass to the Sunday event (or a credit to a future event).

Aaron Buckley and I will be covering most of the event chair duties.

We expect the course to be similar to what is run at the Viper School, so I anticipate it will be rather friendly to overweight/overpowered cars :)

Scott

My offer to help with coursework at the Viper school still stands. If you need the help I should be able to come out and assist. :)

Well, I will be running in the Viper school (as a STi > Viper anyway).... :) However, I don't mind helping out while I am there. Either that, or give me a reduced rate for both, and I will help out both days. doesn't bother me, as I need to get my suspension settings for the STi down before next season.

Let me know. I really dont mind at all and I am done with all the Subaru Challenges/travelling by then. Also, Stacy LOVES Vipers :)

Just out of curiousity, what does the Viper school entail? Is it an autocross just for (going out an limb here  )Vipers?

Also, are there more horsepower friendly zones on the course? If so, that would be rad just to see/hear.

Most likely we'll be at Rockingham for the rescheduled IHRA world finals.

Wonder which you'll go to. (Bigger site, no gravel, better trophies? )

Truth be told, most of them are afraid of the cars and would be DFL in our novice class.

Afraid or not, a Viper is not the AX car of choice. It's a beast in all the avenues.

And if someone from this club that you don't know happens to be a member of the Viper group and sees you mocking the students, what do you think the likelihood of THSCC retaining the Viper school is? :stick:

Ah, it seems to be in good taste. Isn't it the way of the world to pick on people with nicer things than you?

You should hear what the Type R guys say about the STI and Evo owners! j/k

The student I had last year listened to what I had to say, worked hard on his driving and improved a lot. He wasn't that bad from the start either, though. He did hit the same slalom cone on EVERY run  - and I gave him some crap about it, which he took just fine. :D

PS - Some people take themselves WAAAYYY too seriously. :P

Gentlemen, lets please keep this civil before it gets out of hand. Doesn't matter who started it, the moderators don’t want to be the ones to finish it. Be nice to each other :kisses: and go easy on the novices/students (Viper or otherwise)

Thank you!

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

It was not intended to be a mock of anyone. I have deleted the post and request you do the same with the quote.
