I was on nearly corded (corded on the 1st fun run) Hankook z214's. According to the co-driver, they weren't all that good when new either

I guess there is actually an advantage to having no low rpm torque . . . no power oversteer off of low speed corners like the Vette had out of almost every corner Sunday . . .
