OK, as a rookie chair person for an event, I have 2 questions. First, I've looked over the site and didn't really come across a location for information on the "do's and dont's" for laying out a course. Hard points, transitions, gate widths, element marking (pointer cones) and so on. Where can I read up on this stuff?
That said, and this to be primarily an intermediate and advanced school event, what do you want to see in respect to elements? Are there one or two elements that are of a particular challenge to drivers? We will have a "speed trap" at the end of the one of the slaloms (sorry, no drag strips). What are advanced driver considerations you would like to see?
Thanks!!
