Before I put my wheels in the crawl space until next year are there any plans for more events this year?
I guess I'm hooked. The calendar shows the Nov 15/16 event as cancelled and nothing (except the Christmas party  ) until next year - and the first Autocross is not until March!

That's, like, nearly five months! I'll be getting withdrawal symptoms well before then!

A rumored rallycross in January may stave off the shakes but I don't know if it's enough.

Simon

Untill we all hear otherwise, the November 15/16 event is still off teh calendar, but there will be two more night events before the Christmas party (Nov and Dec) and we fully intend to run another 12 next year. I think the first 2004 event is in February, so I see little reason to every put away the race tires.

Simon & Scott, I think both of you were not at the trophy presentation yesterday, correct? Mike announced that, Sun, Nov 16 is back on the cal (back by popular demand, I believe :-) ) -- but in a more muted form.

I expect Mike will post here to verify (or correct any misstatement I make about it), but, as I understand it, this event will be run as a more or less joint venture with the local VW Club with them putting in most of the work. However, the 2 clubs won't be running at the same time. THSCC will run mostly in the morning & the VW club will have most of the afternoon. Therefore, the THSCC portion of the event is being set with a limit of 60 drivers & will be members-only requiring the passcode at all times in order to preregister (& nonpoints as originally designated).

Carl & I didn't have time to get everything in place last night, but I'll be getting the website updated tonight & Carl will be fixing the preregistration file to the specified parameters.

Those of you who had already preregistered are still in the file. Once Carl gets the file all set later (maybe late) tonight, other club members as well can then preregister.

That is pretty interesting.

I know VMSC is running November 9th and 23rd. The last event is at VMP. NASA-VA just announced an event for mid-November. I heard Triad has one more event on their schedule for November 9th. I tlooks like CCR still has a couple events left. If you are hard-core (like Eric :D ), the SCCA starts up in January or February in Arizona. Bum a co-drive and fly out.

If events hold true, then off to Florida in late February for both the ProSolo and Tour. So have to ask yourself, how bad do you want it

The pro solo won't be in FL this year, at least not in Ft Myers. No FL vacation this spring
