i think i learned my lesson too.
i was fine out there all day saturday, but i drank a lot more water i think. i had a small headache saturday and it was on and off through sunday. sunday i think i only drank 4-5 bottle because i was busy and foolishly thought id feel more thirsty than i did if i needed more. then around midday sunday it got worse so i took a couple advil and it was gone. i was ok all day untill we started changing wheels toward the end. then i got the worst freakin headache i think i ever had in the back of my head/base of my neck. i also felt really weak like i couldnt walk and nausious. i had to force myself to drink because i thought i was going to puke.
but then some guys sat me down in front of the big fan w/ some gatorade and water and some more advil and i started feeling better. but then i got up and felt sick and dizzy again so i went and sat in my car w/ more water and the A/C on. hah that was cure and after a 15min nap i felt like a whole new person.
thanks to Jason, Chris and some others who helped me out w/ the chair and fan and gatorade. Scott for loading up my wheels, and definatley to PJ for finishing changing my wheels for me. great ppl. sorry i'm a weinie
oh yeh, and i got attacked by fire ants at station 4 sat night and my ankle was pretty swollen up and oozing and gross. thanks to Christine for the benadril
lessons i learned: headaches mean things, dont cover them up w/ advil. drink more water even if you dont think you need to, and watch where you stand
