Hard work does pay off with THSCC! I know this is short notice but this just fell into place mere minutes ago. There is another of these type events planned for later in the year, so if you miss this one, there will be other opportunities.

We have made arrangements for a special “I helped out the club” day at the Old Sanford Airport THIS Sunday.

This is NOT an all day thing, plans are to run from 9:30am-2pm, however with the turnout expected you will get a TON of runs in 4 hours.

Cost to be determined by the number entrants. Expected cost to be between $15-$30.

Entry limit will be around 40 people.

T&S will be ran in SOME capacity.

This event will be ran VERY similar to the THSCC Night Series. You are eligible if you did one of the following:

You helped out working on the bus, in some capacity.
You held an officer position at some point with THSCC.
You were a former Heel of the Month winner.
You worked at an EV Challenge event.
You have instructed at one of our Novice Schools.
You have Chaired an event and/or helped with the organization of an event (setup days)

Please send an email to autocross@thscc.com if you qualify and would show up.

We must receive your confirmation by 9 pm Friday.

Also someone will need to be able to drive the bus back Sunday afternoon.

Why you guys gotta do this while I'm in Utah?

Well, I guess I'm racing both days this weekend, so I shouldn't complain *too* much.

Any details on the schedule yet? Should participants plan to arrive at 9:30 or earlier (in order to start running at 9:30)?

Same thing as Keith...I emailed from work and I can't get to that right now. Guess I'll show up a little before 9:30 and cross my fingers.

At the trophy presentation after todays event, they said to be at the site around 9.

Thanks to Jason, Vincent, and Ryan coordinating such a cool event, it was a great time, and we each got 10 runs on a very fast course. Thanks again, guys - you ROCK!

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It was a nice, relaxing day! I also got 10 good runs in. The course was a blast!

Thanks to everyone who pitched in, helped out and had a good time. Hopefully we can do this again sometime soon!!!

Same here! Randy and Vincent laid out a great course!

Thanks everyone who helped today. I believe we finished running between 2:30-3:00, so we weren't too far off of our schedule to be completed by 2:00. We also added a 45 minute break for lunch.

Hopefully, the next event won't be on such a short notice, so more people can schedule for it, and we can have more time to plan how the event will go.

Christine & I would've been there, but after getting 10 runs, sunburned, and dehydrated on Saturday I slept until noon on Sunday & just kinda goofed off at home. Glad you guys had fun. :D

Thanks to everyone for all the hard work, great course! :D :D

(Wish Chuck and I hadn't had to wrench the car so much and could have got a few more runs in...but next time we won't have to do that.)
