I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

SCCA has announced that the 2006 Prosolo Finale and the Solo Championships will be held a week later than the traditional dates and will be at Heartland Park rather than at Forbes Field in Topeka.
This year will be the last time that we'll have to dodge potholes and bounce over cracks in badly deteriorating concrete (except at Laurenburg!) I can only hope that they pave the lot with some high traction asphalt. The good news is that we'll probably be able to use one set of tires for the Finale and the championships.

I vote for asphalt as grippy as VMP (at least for my slicks) but without all the "depressions" from transporter parking (which may be an issue at Heartland Park :( )
