 Post subject: Beltline lane reduction this weekend ....

State Department of Transportation crews will reduce the eastbound Beltline (Interstate 440) to one lane, starting Friday from New Bern Avenue to Interstate 40.

The lanes will stay closed until the Monday morning rush hour.

The work could slow down traffic heading to weekend concerts at Alltel Pavilion.

Drivers also will not be able to get onto I-440 from Poole Road over the weekend
