Yes that's right, an international intrigue FANTASY league!

Maybe you can't come to the event because your car done blowed up at VIR.

Maybe you can't come to the event because your brother is getting married and didn't check the THSCC calendar first.

Maybe it's both...

Maybe you are on an international intriguing team, but not a fast one.

Now it DOESN'T MATTER!!!

Rules:

1) Select teams as outlined previously.

2) You must be a THSCC member to play.

3) Only one entry per person (only your first entry counts).

4) All teams must be submitted to me before 7:30 AM on Saturday morning (email or PM only!!!)

Since I am the President, I get to decide what to award the winner, and WHO the winner is.

The award will be a free pass to a normal THSCC autocross ($20 value).

The winner will be the person that selects the fastest UNIQUE team (the scoring criteria is the same as the normal challenge).

So, feel free to pick the best combination of drivers you can, but if someone else picks the same 4 then you don't win (well, you might get bragging rights, but not a free event).

Oh yeah, if you pick a team and someone doesn't show up, you will probably lose, if someone makes a last minute tire change (runs on race tires rather than street tires), then you probably will get disqualified.

Hey, it's intrguing and a challenge, no one said it will be easy.

I'll tabulate the results on Sunday or Monday AFTER the event, so don't pester me before then.

Oh yeah #2: My PM inbox is almost full, so email might be better.

Results:

We had a total of 8 teams submitted and 6 of them were valid.

    Team Owner: Team members

Mary Fisher: Patrice Bousquet Sally Johnson Jim Feinberg Dick Rasmussen
    41.768 42.891 42.129 42.69 169.478

Ryan Holton: Keith Quistorff Sally Johnson Marcus McRae Randy Melton
    42.509 42.891 42.831 41.426 169.657

Rick Butters: Patrice Bousquet Sally Johnson Marcus McRae Dick Rasmussen
    41.768 42.891 42.831 42.69 170.18

Patrice Bousquet: Patrice Bousquet Kathy Gleason Jim Feinberg Dick Rasmussen
    41.768 44.504 42.129 42.69 171.091

Wes Eargle: Jason Panciera Sally Johnson Marcus McRae Dick Rasmussen
    42.944 42.891 42.831 42.69 171.356

Chris Overcash: Patrice Bousquet Sally Johnson Graham Jagger Les Davis
    41.768 42.891 48.042 41.566 174.267

Kevin Allen: Patrice Bousquet Brian Herring Marcus McRae Les Davis
    41.768 41.341 42.831 41.566 167.506

Vincent Keene: Patrice Bousquet Sally Johnson Randy Melton Les Davis
    41.768 42.891 41.426 41.566 167.651

Mary Fisher is the winner, Kevin Allen was disqualified for not quite following the rules (no woman, no domestic car, though his team would have kicked ass!), and Vincent Keene suffered the same fate (no street tire car).

Mary will receive a free autocross for her efforts!

If we could all see the future, and pretend that the FSAE car doesn't count, the "perfect" team would have been:

Euro: Patrice Bousquet
Domestic: Randy Melton
Asian: Brian Herring (tire)
Woman: Sally Johnson

Total time: 167.426

Dustin Fredrickson put together a fantastic drive in the Miata to get the FTD for non-formula cars, however he was on Hoosiers, and Brian Herring's awesome drive on street tires bumps him up on the list as the Asian car pick.

This is cool . . . how can I (and others) be in multiple teams . . . especially since I didn't "sign up" for any? :o

'Cause it's the "fantasy" challenge, people could choose from any registered entrants to be on their fantasy team, not restricted to just entrants who had registered for a real team.
