Well, I think the challenge should have come a lot sooner, before we all went and prepared for this season. Maybe we can reconsider for next season. Perhaps you
should go play with the X boys.
Personally I think you're a tad scared by my close miss last Sunday and are terrified that I'll trounce you next time!

This is coming from the same person that bought an extra set of rims and put Azenis on them for the THSCC TIR class. You can not have it both ways.
There is a big difference between r-compounds and street tires. When I drove the R with Azenis at VMP, I thought it was awesome. But my second thought after getting out of the car was how cool it will be with some r-compounds
It will take you a bit to adjust to the r-compounds. So the longer you delay, the longer the learnng curve. There probably is a ton of set up information for the ITR. So you are safe there.
I highly disagree with Shawn on the THSCC X class. It will do nothing to prep you for Div or National level competition. Nothing at all. Ask Rick and Rob about their move up the ladder last year for a fresh perspective.
The competition and driving skill there is awesome. The best prep is running with some other clubs. It gets you use to traveling to new sites, being around total strangers....plus you can run whatever tire you want with other clubs.
