Ordered a set of the new 615s today, supposed to be here in time for this weekend. Will use them at the school for demo runs and as rain tires. Laurenburg is tough on R compounds will save them for events.

Hey, drive to the hotel & back on them if you can. I'd like to hear about tramlining & noise - I'm thinking about using these all the time, not just for autox.

Since the Miata's RE71 street tires are toast ( imagine that after only 4 years on them!) we will be driving on the Azenis as street/rain tires at least until we start trailering. We have no way to carry more than 1 set of tires right now so we needed a way to have rains with us.
Got 195 14's for 78.00 each from Vulcan. They only had a couple sets on hand.

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

Vulcan also has the 275/40-17 in stock now. But now neither Miles or I need them. I wouldn't have minded trying them this year and not trailer tires.

I'll be curious as to how the folks who have used the previous generation Azenis feel about the new ones.
