is everyone staying at the hampton in on sat the 19th? and do what is our "special" rate there...i can't remember.

The Hampton is the place to be, the special rate is about $64 per night.

You need to call and ask for the THSCC rate which is $62

newbie question here. since i have never seen a hampton inn with a bar, do i need to pack mine?

Yes, and FWIW, they don't seem to mind a (somewhat) civilized group bringing their beverages of choice and hanging out in their lounge / breakfast area. There is evidently a bar close by the hotel as well, but I've never been.

If you have AAA and go on the www.hamptoninn.com website I got even a cheaper reate 58 for a double and 61 for a king.... but then I looked at an award reservation and for 7500 points I could get my rooom free so I did that... I knew all that travel would pay off. so if you are a hilton HHonors member this is one of the cheapest places to you use your points :)
