Ditto what Whitney said - I've usually gotten my best results (as in FTPAX) when I only do one or two course walks. Must've been the 3WD & 120 hp to the wheels...

Not doing enough course walks *certainly* forces you to look ahead. Shawn and I talked about this last year.

It seems like a very select few people can be very fast without a coursewalk, maybe reaching 95% potential. But we all know autocross is about that last 5%.
