Ok, since I've never done the Autocross thing, I want to make sure that I'm putting myself into the right class. I've looked over the class specifications and believe that I'm on the right track. If someone happens to see something that sticks out as blatant and puts me somewhere else, then obviously let me know. Thanks.

I think I'm in STX, and here is why

03 Subaru WRX
STI struts and springs
Whiteline steering rack bushings
Carbotech Bobcats (front pads only)
STI replica front and rear strut bars
17x7.5 wheels with 225/45/17 tires
Running synthetic engine oil

Nothing else has been added (to my knowledge) and the only thing removed has been the silencer, which I have heard hurts more than helps but I like to hear my little turbo spool. :D

So, am I on the right path, or did I foul something up in the thought process? Thanks.

The steering rack bushings throw you out of STX. You'd be ESP with them. Everything else is STX legal, as long as you're running UTQG 140+ tires, which I expect you are. - AB

Since when can you change steering rack bushings in SP?

Also, the bushing rule is for suspension, not steering rack, in STX.

I'd say Street Modified.

No changes from stock in ST in the steering rack. Just suspension. As for SP, Kevin's right, there are no allowances there for steering rack bushings. You're looking at SM... - AB

Street Mod, so that keeps me out of STX. That's what I needed to know. Thanks for the info all. :)

Just so everybody knows, there's a proposal to allow alternate steering rack bushings in ST classes. May Fastrack.

But that would mean that I would never have a shot at first unless you miss a race.
