Unfortunately Keeny Keel isn't able to continue on as our NCAC representative this year. We need a replacement ASAP. My understading is that the work load isn't excessive.

Triad is already hosting this years event, and we'll be up for next year.

Anyone [cough]Jim Feinberg[/cough] care to do it?

Bueller?

Scott

Sure, I'd be glad to. Is there somebody that is still heading up the entire thing (Dean Furr?) or anybody I should make contact with?

Well since Triad is hosting it the decision was made at the org. meeting to make the Triad rep also NCAC chair for the year. Dean is handling the $$$ but counting on Triad and the other club reps to take care of everything else other than the web site, which I still (minimally <embarassed>) maintain.

So all the Tarheel rep needs to do is keep in communication with the other club reps and it would be great if the reps would work together on sponsorship/promotion of the series. Jim F. I thought you were already nominally the rep?

That's cool. Considering I used to work with the current Triad president (Patrick Borka), that should be no problem. I think the Triad guys will do a good job this year and I'll do whatever I can to support them.

I think you're confusing the fact that I was at the impromptu planning meeting in Greeneville with the notion that I was there in some official capacity. I was just sitting there taking up space and looking pretty... :P

But seriously, I'll make contact with Mr. Borka and see what I can do to help this year. I really like the new format and with the central location this year (Greensboro), hopefully we'll get a large turnout.

Jim,
If you send me your email address, I will forward the recent emails regarding NCAC, and get them to add you to the mailing list.
