May want to move the school and event that weekend, I suspect a lot of posible instructors will choose AX paradise (ACU4) over Laurenburg?

We will be at ACU4 if anyone is looking for us. 8)

Since the speedway is only about 30 minutes from my folks I may have to plan a trip back home that weekend.

We all know that the Laurinburg event will not be rescheduled :) This SEDiv event is one that you really do not want to miss. And actually, if you are qualified to be an advanced instructor, you should be testing your abilities in Norfolk.

It is the best site in the east and probably the best event this year in the southeast. Hell, for the east coast!

There isn't that much overlap between the THSCC and SCCA, not to mention, people would rather run a Saturday and Sunday event over a Friday-Saturday event.

Unless, the SCCA needs to check their calendar and get it right?

Do you have to be an SCCA member to run the SE-Div events? If so, that makes running a single event rather expensive!

Yes, you need to be an SCCA member to run the Divisionals. Well, another way to look at it is the chance to run against the top competition. I can run at that site for $15 with two different clubs. And the SEDiv event is no better run than the other clubs that run there. But the level of competition at the SEDiv is the best around.

Plus you get pretty nice trophies with Hoppe's car on it!

The October Norfolk event is actually scheduled as a normal Saturday-Sunday event and the SEDiv has corrected the date to show Oct 8-9, rather than the Oct 7-8 that they originally posted.
