Are the tech days that the club holds only for the track guys? I thought I remember reading or hearing somewhere that we could have our cars teched at the beginning of the season for autox and it wouldn't need to be teched at each event. Is this true? If so is it done at the same time or done at a completely separate time?

The currently scheduled tech days are for the track people but we accept HPDE/TT annual tech as acceptable for an annual autox tech.

We will be holding a tech day for autox folk but it's not defined yet.

More soon.

It will be at the Test N Tune and every subsequent autox as necessary. The annual tech form (autox only) will be handed out by the gate workers. While not required, you will be made fun of and pointed at by all your peers if you dont have one. Its the hottt thing for 2005 ;)

Annual tech will be pushed REAL hard this year. This will reduce our need for workers in tech.

Ryan, Love the Avatar! I hope to see it on the back of the CRX. I'll be sesroiusly disappointed if it's not there.

I'm sure it can, but I won't answer for the Tech team. - AB

Season tech can be done at any event, we're just going to be pushing it really hard at the first few events.

does anybody know if we have any annual stickers. I seem to remember Simon saying that we ran out last year. Is that correct Simon?

I've redone them and printed some on clear laser labels. The kind normally used for labelling envelopes. I'm currently testing one on my car and one on my son's car (in AZ) to see how they stand up to the elements. I'd appreciate anyone's opinion on the design. See the good looking blue WRX in the Golden Corral parking lot on Wednesday. You know, the one with the brand-spanking-new KYB AGX's!!!

Is there any way to print them backwards so you can mount them on the inside of the windshield? Then you don't need so rugged a sticker, ie cheaper and easier.

Yes, I did that. I'm not quite that dumb. I was more concerned as to how they'll fare with UV exposure.

I thought that Glass inherently blocked uv? Maybe just some and not all wavelengths?

If the ones Simon printed don't hold up like you want them to, I'm sure my Dad still has the "design" if you want him to make more. He can print the same stuff, or can update it based on different needs/wants.

"Dad" is Same Hall. The other guy that works in the shop is Jake. Either can help you out. Remind them they made some many years back. Tell them you are from THSCC.
