Just waiting patiently for registration to open...if someone would be kind enough to post here when it does, that would be nice. :)

I might go seeing as I am currently living 30 mins from VMP right now. Its just a matter of whether or not I can get my car up here to Richmond or not.

Any one else?

I'm a "maybe" right now. We need some at-home time. Made the final decision last night to skip the Laurens, SC Subaru Challenge, too. Too much stuff piling up at home, and I've got to do it sometime...

Bring back some trophies!

I know a way to get the car there. Thing is Jim P. says the venue is now the Cloverleaf Mall. :( Don't know that I wanna make the trek up for that.

I made the trip up to Cloverleaf Mall. The surface is an aggregate type, but it is pretty tire friendly. The grip is okay. But I was running year old Kuhmos, so I may be biased :)

The lot has some wicked elevation changes. With time, I think you will see some cool course layout there. VMSC has committed to running there once a month next year.

Kind of a long drive for only 3 runs...

Jim, nice job finishing top 10 pax on busted old tires.

Yes, only three runs. But a nice group of people, challenging course and awesome weather; it was worth it :D

This was only the second event running across the two parking areas. They kept the Sunday course setup. That led to an overap of 50-55 seconds. Thus the change to only three runs. Strnagely enough, they had a bunch of timer problems in the first run group. That led to a delay.

The cool thing was my first two runs were dirty. They announced the three runs prior to the start of heat one's third run. So there was a lot of pressue to go and try to get a clean, fast run in. Add to the fact that a few of the guys and gals were reminding me of the fact right up to the start... :P

A really neat feature was after exiting a 270 degree turn around you headed for a slamon. The start of the slamon was on the crest of hill. The remaining slamon was over the crest and down a steep hill. It was pretty cool and sucked me in all three runs.
