Adam perhaps you're just honing your "Internet Badass" persona but my observations indicate otherwise.

I have seen the dyno plots of at least four Honda Challenge race cars from Dynojets. The numbers, for the same car, with the same motor, on the Dynapack JE carries to the track with them, are lower. Every time. Without exception.

.

Actually not honing anything, and you points actually back up what I am saying.

Take the same car to 4 diff dynojets and I bet you money there will a statistically large variable between them. You are alos pointing out a specific dynopack as your differnence. Go run on another dynpack and again I bet you it will even more different.

My point still stands, comparing diff dyno's results to any others and making blanket claims is worthless. As a follow up to that either doo all your dyno testing on the same dyno or even your own thoughts or claims about power and gains is just as useless.

Since I just found two cents, here they are: Even if you tune on the same dynomometer, you'll get statistically different results due to the a) heat of the bearings of the brake and b) the heat, humidity and air pressure of the day which the SAE has *tried* to correct for, but will still be variable.

Get it right man, its not the decals but the YELLOW plug wires. Shhhh thats my secret weapon until I can get my NOS on there!!!!

Remember the car at Sanford with those cool flourescent green wheels. Well you need to do yours in YELLOW to go with the plug wires! That is easily 16-24hp depending on whether you use the Dynapack or the Dynojet :lol:

I think that the number "420" was where it was at. And saying that the car was "stock" as well, right Jason?

Have you done anything to it? No
Does it have a header? No

Is it that Accord with the chopped up hood that you can see the header through? Yes.

Exactly.

Now figure variables such as different installations, in ground above ground. Calibration, how often by whom. User/Operater error, etc. All that is pretty much my point of the compelte uselessness, love that word, of any attempt at all to say;

"X type of dyno's read Y when compared to Z type of dynos"
