I thought I saw Lee Williams signed up for the event but he's not on the list now.

I just read directions and updated my entry. One suggestion, you may want to update "Special Rules" for this event. Registration times are wrong and it doesn't say anything about Nov or Pro on the pop-up. Changing the Special Rules might help with this.

Doug, what makes you think the reg times are wrong? Did somebody tell you they were wrong? This is not a regular event so First Car Off is earlier than a regular event. Students won't be doing course walks in advance and there aren't many students or cars, so reg is not open as long. In October, the days are short and we have to finish in time to set up for Sunday.... therefore we need to get a fairly early start.

I'm not sure the last time you checked, but if you click on the words "Novice/Intermediate Autox" on the prereg page for Oct 16, you will get a detailed set of registration instructions. I did not ask Carl or Mary to update the "Tire Chirps" popup box but we don't customarily put the detailed write up for each event in the pop up box. Is there another "special rules" section you expected to find more info? I wasn't sure which section you were referring to.

FCO for this event at 9:00 is the goal. Hope to see ya there!

Miles, I read the event schedule on the event page and then updated my registration. Upon submitting my registration update, the pop-up for special rules came up and listed registration time ending at 9:30, not 8:30. That is what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.

I also was saying that it might be a good idea to put the Novice for beginners and Pro for people who have run 9 - 18 events in the pop-up. I see that the asterisk and note have been added to the schedule and that should be fine. It was just an idea of mine to put it in the pop-up.

Doug

P. S. I read your post more carefully this morning. When you (or anyone I assume) register or update a registration, at the bottom you must click Submit Pre-Registration or Update Existing Entry, or Delete or Clear Form. Those are the options. When you click Submit or Update, a Special Rules pops up. This is the one I was referring to. Hope this helps clear things up.

He Doug,

I apologize that the info was not correct when you registered. It took me longer than it should have to get info to Carl about the event. The reg times you saw are just the default ones we use for normal events, and you are right- those were not correct.

Hopefully it's fixed now.

See ya there!

Miles
