Seems odd that we have not yet had a very big preregistration for the Laurinburg school and AX on 10/16-17. Is there a conflict with something else that weekend?
Also why are some running PRO for the school?

If I read the insturctions right in the description, it said if you have less then 8 events under your belt, sign up as Novice, more then 8 events sign up as Pro. I was hoping I did that right since not everyone seemed to be following that.

Thanks for making me recheck that -- it had taken me *off* the intermediate school list!

Let me make a few comments:

Poor numbers for registration so far?? That's party my fault. I've just been swamped and haven't had time to promote it via emails and such. I will try to make some announcements in the next day or two.

Registration: Yep, we asked the less experienced folks to register under NOV and those with more than 8 events to register under PRO. That's just so we can get a feel for how many of each student type we have in advance. Some people signed up before we posted those instructions.

Miles,
You can hardly be faulted for the number of signups, the school and event has been on the calendar all season. I was just surprised to see that the both events weren't nearly full like they usually are a week before opening it up to non members. I assume you still plan to use the new "secret" area, which should give room for a good course. It's been 2 weekends without an AX since nationals and I'm starting to go thru withdrawals.
Is there any sort of room deals or plans for Sat nite?

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

Chuck,

We are working on the details of which part of the site we will use for the school. The new "secret" area, is, well, a secret. So we can't tell you

The usual area will be used for Sunday at this point. With a few wrinkles...

I'm working on the hotel issue now and hope to have it posted by tomorrow evening.

We haven't been to an autocross since Rockingham. You think you're having withdrawals... Ann told me to stop playing in the driveway. The neighbors thought I was drunk

Hopefully the event will help you fill that void.

Graham (the other event chair)

I just read directions and updated my entry. One suggestion, you may want to update "Special Rules" for this event. Registration times are wrong and it doesn't say anything about Nov or Pro on the pop-up. Changing the Special Rules might help with this.

That's weird- a friend of mine (and her boyfriend)'s entries also mysteriously disappeared sometime recently. I took a closer look at the entry list but couldn't find anything amiss.

Anyone else notice their entry is gone?
