Anyone have details of the SE Divisional in Norfolk on Aug 28 - 29? What time does the site open to competitors on Sat AM? Can we leave cars/trailers overnight on Sat? Even better, can we drop them on Friday night? What time will competition start in the Mornings? The My Auto Events posting doesn't have this info.

Ok, at this time here's the scoop...

The site opens at 7:00 am on Saturday.

We should be able to leave trailers at the site each night, but not sure about Friday dropoffs yet, still working on that deal.

The schedule should be...

Friday

6:00pm - 9:00pm registration, tech at Event Hotel

Saturday

7:00am - 9:00am course open for walking
7:30am - 8:30am late registration, tech
9:00am - 9:30am drivers mtg, workers ckin, Heat 1 to grid
9:30am - 4:00pm competition
4:00pm - 7:00pm Sunday's course setup
course walking after setup

Sunday

7:00am - 8:30am course open for walking
8:45am - 9:00 worker ckin, Heat 1 to grid
9:00am - 3:00pm competition
3:00pm - 3:30pm course and site cleanup
3:30pm - trophies

Hope this helps. :D Do realize that things happen and the schedule may not be in cement. :wink:

I've been told that the Hotel info will be posted on the SE Division Solo 2 website sometime on Monday.

The SE Divisional information

The event hotel is the Crowne Plaza - Virginia Beach, VA 757-473-1700

Early registration and tech are at the event hotel on Friday from 6pm to 9pm. Getting it done Friday saves a lot of time come Saturday morning.
