I'm looking to put together a dedicated site for the NCAC with info on the history of the series, photos, results, personal stories etc.

I recall there was a site setup many years ago with a lot of info, but don't recall who ran it and if any of the info from that site still exists.

Anyways if you would like to share any info, please e-mail it to me at kestreldesignstudio@gmail.com

Thanks,
Jeff

I believe Donnie Barnes ran the NCAC site at one point. If you do a search here, we have posts about NCAC that go back to 2003. I am sure there is info buried in that content.

I'd just like to point out that I'm still the webmaster (or at least I think I am, lol) for the NCAC website at http://www.soloii.com. It's obviously out of date, but I've not been given much in the way of info to update it. I will try to get what I have soon, but as more arrives someone should send it to me at djb@donniebarnes.com. I have a small site redesign in progress, too, that should be done in a couple weeks (nothing earth shattering, just a little revamp of the layout with a few neat graphics).

The sooner I get complete info, the sooner everyone can just link to that one site rather than posting and reposting the same stuff everywhere.

Boy, Donnie, you have your work cut out for you. If ever there was a website that need a "refreshening", the NCAC site may win the prize.
It includes reviews of 2001 events, but doesn't even have last year's results.

We would probably get more interest in the NCAC event if we could figure out how to keep the website relevant. It would be nice if there was a forum, where we could get a little good-natured inter-club smack-talking before the big event.

Due to a server crash over at Triad, I "think" the '05 results are gone.

The site no longer resolves and is no longer registered in the ICANN lookup: https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=soloii.com

That was about the time motorsportreg was coming online.

2007 had some personally hosted results that are no longer reachable: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=6847&hilit=ncac+www

From then on out, it appears the host of the NCAC would host the results on their site, but there was never an NCAC specific site following that time that I found in the archives.

Mike Dishman and Karl Kauffman were the series chairs around 1996. I forwarded Jeff's request to Mike and he said he would look around and see what he could find.

I don't check into this sub-forum often since I don't really autocross anymore, but I happened to be poking around and saw this thread.

Anyway, I had some of that content at one time and could MAYBE dig and find it, but I'm guessing you don't know about the wayback machine:

https://archive.org/web/

Go there and punch in soloii.com and then you can see snapshots of the entire site at different times in history. Should be able to re-collect a lot of those old results that way.

Donnie,

Thanks! I'll check it out.
