It sounds as if they tried to fix the reason that I haven't used Rivals in a long while. Their turn in was considerably slower than the RE71R's and the Star Spec II's. I was checking out Tire Rack the other day, there seems to be a few new autox tires out this year from various brands. This has been a learning year for me. I found out that Costco will order RE71-R's and install them for you including a road hazard warrantee. I assume that they will also order Rivals since they also sell BFG. Their cost is less than tire rack installed and about he same as Discount Tire. Discount Tire will flip your tires for $10 if you bought them there.

Things may have changed but when I asked about mounting 255/40/17 on non OE wheels at the Raleigh location a couple of years ago I got turned down--they only did OE fitment... :thumbsdown:
