Getting the scale of a site is not too hard.
1. Go to maps.google.com
2. find your site on google earth.
3. Use Snipping tool in windows to move your picture to your favorite drawing tool.
4. Notice the distance key in the lower right corner.
5. Scale the image on your screen so that you can use a ruler to figure out the distance. Us old school folks would probably make 1" or 25mm equal 100 ft.

Thank you Michael.
I was just wondering if anyone already had all the things measured, like distance from the poles to curbs, etc.
If not, then i will use the ruler method.

Wake county's GIS, as most do, allow you to take measurements. Enable the aerial map then look under tools.
