I looked at the calendar and I don't see an Oct play date for autox. Do we have any plans to run in Oct? I'm trying to setup some time to hit the beach and wanted to work around an event if we are going to have one....

10/22 is not good for me also, I'm on standby.

An October date at Danville would be great for me as well I will be heading up to NC anyway and need to carry on a 19 year tradition. Any weekend in Oct would work for me other than 1-2. Don't make me do a Triad event!!

P.S. I'd be looking for a car to drive at this event as I'll likely just have some shitty rental. Beggars can't be choosers, but FWD SUX.

First weekend is NCAC, so it won't be that weekend for sure.

Thanks to all the officers, event chairs, and others that made this event happen. It was a very challenging course, we got six runs, still got out early, and had great weather.

As a bonus, it was great to see Les Davis all the way from Florida!

Great course and a great day. Thanks to all who made it happen.

Even if I have nightmares about that damn three cone slalom right before the finish! 8)

My thanks to the event chairs and officers for a fun event!

To paraphrase Eric, it was great to beat Les Davis after he traveled up here from Florida :)

That was tough, it messed up my fastest run by 7/10s of the day, and it was my last run! I was quite angry at myself for having a much better run and then coning on that slalom.

Eric, Art and everyone else, it was great seeing you all too. Thanks for paying the weather bill Tarheel folks, fabulous Florida like weather in VA for late October. I wish I had figured out that the nannies were confounding my efforts in the rental Mustang and that "track" mode doesn't really mean track mode or turn off all the nannies as one would think. That ecoboost Mustang would actually be a fairly capable car with all the nannies turned off and a sticky set of tires. I will likely be back next year to keep the streak alive. Also, if anyone wants to hit up west coast Florida for a autocross I have a guest room and we have a couple solid concrete sites with regular autocrosses going on most weekends throughout the winter (Buckingham Field in Ft Myers is actually pretty fantastic and Brooksville doesn't suck).
