I was considering getting a 2006 mini S JCW and staying in D-Stock next year but this tire wear is realllllllyyyyy bad with no camber. I knew it would be bad, and I am not smooth so I'm extra hard on the tires, but seriously really bad.
STX says this about the mini, mine is a 2005, does this mean I can slap on a jcw engine kit and run STX ? I believe 04-05 dealer installed is what will cover me, STX already allows any spring/shock I believe so it has to be talking about the engine kit, if I'm understanding that right, that's a whole lot cheaper than finding a 06 JCW, the parts are not hard to find now that there's a bunch of aftermarket heads that are a lot better.

In order to have the JCW engine, you'd have to have *everything* that makes a JCW different from a Cooper S that is not a replaceable item per the rules for STX. If this
