Signed up and very much looking forward to this. Should have my new Minilite alloys on by then instead of the wire wheels, so my old car should grip a bit better than before.

Of course, fixing the driver will be much difficult. :D

Any way to open up the pre-reg list? Always more fun to see who else is attending ahead of time. 8)

It looks like 11ish instructors (defined as "a Non-Novice name that I recognize") and 18 students so far--sorry if I misidentified someone.

Do we have a basic schedule set up? I would be happy to help moderate a lunch time discussion group Q&A session for novices that have questions, want to talk in more detail etc while the other instructors hoon about the courses.

I actually have a plan to do just this! With some colored chalk for illustrations and cover a few concepts via cave man drawlings on the pavement. I'd be happy to have some help. We'll probably put together a preliminary schedule tomorrow, I'll send you an email soon and we'll put our heads together.

Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

I just finished registering for both Saturday and Sunday.
I was a THSCC member and active autox-er about 30 years ago. I am ready to try and re-engage in some autox, but I am back to novice status since it has been soooooooo long. It will be fun to see if I can learn to drive my 2010 Miata worth a darn.
It will also be interesting to see if I can remember anyone from 30 years ago.

Is there anyone driving up to the Driver School from the Raleigh area that I could caravan up with?

It would help me to easily find the site, and I could use a tiny bit of help getting oriented to the goings on once I arrive on site.
Thanks!

You could probably follow me. I don't really speed on the way up because NC86 is littered with cops from Caswell County, so make sure you have a good podcast or audiobook to listen to.

We're looking good on students and instructors now. But a couple more instructors won't hurt. If you know anyone not on the list who would be good please give them a call for us.
