We had our first event at Danville on Saturday and it was a big success. We had great weather and a great turnout. Mike and Anders Miller for a fun and challenging course design. Also thanks to Rob Keehner for coming up for course set-up.

We had some great driving showing the winter did not make Zach Williams, Carlton Whitehead or several others rusty as they pushed each other toward quicker and quicker times.

We had 19 novices and two actual British sports cars from the 60's. 8) They kept our two new Novice Co-ordinators, Rob Keehner and Sleepy Dressler busy. I think we made a few new converts to the art of wasting tires and cleaning cone marks.

Thanks to everyone who helped me as a new GM to not screw up too badly.

The course was great fun with the pivot cone and the crossover slaloms!

All the noobs I talked to, including the 2 MG drivers seemed to have gotten hooked.
From the feedback I got it might be useful to have a sign displayed with instructions to get to the timing and scoring site, think I had a handful of folks come and ask about that.

Cheers to the Millers for a fun course, and it was a great day as usual!

Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

Sign on the bus has that info already but definitely worth reminding during driver's meeting
