as funny as it sounds, yes, I take info on the forum to be the official word. But you bring up a good point. What is the official mouthpiece of THSCC nowadays? FB page? Group? MSR?

I would hope MSR is the official word since that's where you go to actually register.

Apparently this is not a popular opinion... But why not expect to trust info found here? I understand the argument that MSR could be considered to be more correct, but frankly I shouldn't be expected to doubt or not trust info posted here by officers. I expect mistakes will happen and that between the three sources mentioned things will occasionally get out of sync. I think it's fine to say MSR should be the primary one to use if conflicting info is shown, but the real answer in this situation is to just say "sorry, we need to fix that" vs act as if it's obvious people should be looking elsewhere for accurate information.

Not looking to flame anyone. I just wanted to post an alternate view. It seems a bit of "shoot he messenger" going on.

Richard

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

If it was a noob I'd have been much kinder. Rodney knows better. . .

We've got a lot to do, sometimes things slip through the cracks. I fixed it.

I was in the same boat as Rodney, so I guess there's two of us who should know better?

Shees, you guys are so sensitive. I was just giving Rodney crap. Lighten up!

With so many mediums to keep up with, its a lot more work than it used to be to make sure they are all consistent. We do the best we can. I fixed this thread and updated the FB page. Sorry if my sarcasm doesn't come across like I intend.

I was joking too...about being old. I'm lucky to remember to get up in the morning! Just wait until your late 50s...

Speaking of FB -- don't use it, never plan to, on principle...part of slowly becoming an aged curmudgeon I suppose but I'm not planning on posting my life and pictures on line for a company to monetize for their benefit. Trade their stock, sure, especially waiting for the optimum shorting opportunity, but becoming an unpaid employee of Zuckerberg isn't happening. :)

I said we agree on something, like the ONE FB thing, but I love S550 Mustang.
