After having parked in that lot, I can only say I'm not surprised. Its got to be the smallest autox site in the state.

Wow, in 40 years of autocrossing I've not yet been to an event where someone has flipped a car. Hopefully the driver (and passenger?) were ok?

I remember that lot from 10 years back when my daughter was just starting autocrossing. I took my wife's then dd, 2005 V70R with 6MT, and that stupid pos had ABS ice mode activation approaching a 180 turn from a long run across the lot (probably 55mph down to 20); I ran wide and nailed 5-6 cones but fortunately didn't hit anything. It did it again on 2nd run, but I was ready and cycled the pedal which got me decent braking again. Needless to say, after seeing many reports on forums of V70R/S60Rs having ice mode activation on dry pavement on the road, that was the nail in that stupid car's coffin (massive list of warranty claims up that point), and I sold it within the month.

And the absolute dumbest place to have an autox. I foolishly raced there once.

From what I heard the driver/passenger were ok, car was most likely totaled but I haven't seen photos. Apparently the roof collapsed and he hit a curb so likely destroyed all the suspension on that side too.
