Cool, glad he got it sorted out.

I figured this would fill up a bit more quickly than it has, lol.

I do see a huge number of novices registered, i'll be happy to hop in some cars if need be.

From what I'm reading so far, this seems to be a sirens call for first timers. That said, we HAVE to be on our A game to make this a successful event AND to show CTC we run a first class autox. I suggest we mandate that complete noobs HAVE to have an instructor in the passenger seat in order to keep them under control and pointed in the right direction.

Just me 2 cents worth of concern for this event....

I agree and between us NC's and the grid and starter we can make sure Novices get checked out before soloing. If you are willing to ride w/novices please help out. Do we have a separate color armband for those willing to help?

101 entries...that didn't take long!

I am looking forward to seeing CStreet battle it out. I suspect our course will be lower speed, maybe max out 50-55 mph with some tight low speed digs out of corners. From what I understand this is right in the sweet spot for the new ND. Will be fun watching it compete against some really well-driven Twins.

Although the "entry list" will still continue to grow, those who sign up at this point are on the wait list (and its clear to them when registering and clear to MSR regs who is wait list and who is not).

Posted on FB, we will be enforcing noise rules at this event.

Looks like outside of Maria, all of the twins are staying home or are in other classes.

Its clearly been awhile for me... So forgive what might be some really stupid questions. 8)

1. Are car numbers to be unique regardless of class or only within class? I mention this because it seems MSR allows duplicates across the entire registration and I didn't know if that was OK or if it was something that gets worked out by our registrar at the event.

2. I am currently in HS and Rob and Steven will pound me (and that is OK). I am likely to stay in HS, but I am also considering running a PAX class such as Old Fart. I assume I can just adjust my class registration within MSR without loosing my spot?

3. What is the class prefix (for car numbering) used for Old Fart?

Richard

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Should only need to be unique within the class for car number.

I think old fart is OF.

I don't think you can adjust the registration once registered but once you check in at the bus just let them know the change the class/number if need be.

So if you move to OF next year, you'll give Neal-Bob incentive to finally finish updating the Corvair and seek greener pastures in E-Mod :)
