We would prefer if people minimized marking the pavement, that was a discussion point that delayed the contract a bit. We will have a no burnout start (sharp pinch before the lights).

So, we're running the same course as NCAC?

Well I will attempt to keep the usage to a minimum.

I just signed up. I wouldn't mind a co-drive though since I'd rather not have to change the tires on the Miata and tow it down.

Beggers can't be choosers, but light and RWD is by far my preference.

Can we rebrand this event "OUR NCAC SINCE YOU HAD YOUR HCAC ALREADY?"
I am looking forward to this!

I got a co-drive, thanks Jonell. Is it possible to get a heads up on what time the link will go public so friends of members can get a jump on the unwashed masses? I have some people at work who are interested in trying out an Auto-X since it's so close. (If we want to do this)

I have registered. This will be the first autocross I will have attended in a number of years. I will be in my bone stock daily driver 2015 Honda Fit with OEM tires. I am looking forward to shaking off the cobwebs.

I have a MSR question if anyone might happen to know the details on how to address. I have a THSCC lifetime membership and that means my membership number is slightly different than what is shown on MSR (Lifetime members get "LT-" prefix in front of their membership number... or at least that is what is on my lifetime membership card). MSR didn't have the prefix and I didn't edit this as I didn't want to potentially break any THSCC to MSR data integration. Question is... Should I edit my number in MSR or leave it as is (no prefix and it says my membership expired in 2014).

It's feeling like black Friday. My friends keep refreshing the THSCC calendar page. :)

The membership verification system is a work in progress. The system currently shows your membership is valid through 2015, where did you see 2014?

As for lifetime membership, when/how did you get your lifetime membership? I only see a yearly membership paid for. Maybe you gave Bowie a check directly and I need to update our records? Feel free to take this to PM...

I just checked MSR and it does show it good through 12/30/15. I must have seen that wrong. I will PM you regarding the lifetime membership.

From what I'm reading so far, this seems to be a sirens call for first timers. That said, we HAVE to be on our A game to make this a successful event AND to show CTC we run a first class autox. I suggest we mandate that complete noobs HAVE to have an instructor in the passenger seat in order to keep them under control and pointed in the right direction.

Just me 2 cents worth of concern for this event....

I have a co-worker who has only been to (I think) one, maybe two THSCC autocross schools and is interested in attending. It's the first time someone has approached me about an event at work in a long time. Regarding experienced passengers. I can help as needed (even if I am rusty) and plan to make sure it is known that ride-alongs in my car are welcome.

Personally... I think the goals of the event should be...

1. Keep site owner happy.
2. Keep site owner happy.
3. Keep site owner happy.
etc....

The fun will happen regardless :)

The lining inside my helmet has disintegrated. I assume as always we will have loaners?

Richard
