I'm a glass half full kinda guy, so less entries means more runs generally, lol. Although it's not exactly good for the club, it does have a positive for me at least. Also, teching upwards of 100 cars starts to get a bit busy if you don't get started a bit early. So teching 50 cars is pretty cake, lol.

Assuming you guys still allow walk up registrations, you might be surprised at the number of walk up you might get at VMP assuming the Virginia clubs/autocrossers know you having an event there. If you are in need of more entries you might want to make sure that other clubs know this event is happening. VMSC, BRR, maybe Triad and NCR? I think there are others that I don't remember. Most events at VMP if the weather is good seemed to be pretty well attended.

Looks like VMSC and Tidewater Sports Car Club (Norfolk area) have open dates this weekend. Old Dominion SCCA has an autocross Sunday at Pungo Airfield. Still worth contacting the first two clubs.

I'm in...fixed my rough idle/smoke issue with a replacement PCV valve so I should be good to go! Looking forward to it!

I am mostly likely going to be in dealing with family issues out of state this weekend so I won't be able to make it. I'm not sure if andrew is going to be there, if not we need a stand in WC.

Can anyone tell me if the course will be a lot of left hand vs right hand? Trying to decide if I want to rotate my tires before the event, the driver side took a good beating at the last Danville event with 2 drivers.

I have suggested to you event chairs that we run a predominantly counterclockwise course since we have been punishing left tires at the last 3 events.

It's obvious looking at mine, lol, I don't have an issue rotating mine though, luckily I have asymmetrical tires :D

Great job Lee, Chris and Zach for a fun, challenging course. The whole section going down to the turnaround was an absolute blast and flowed really well. The entire last third of the course was fun too and took a ton of patience to hold a tight line. I think the heat might have kept some people away but I'd definitely go back soon.

I agree with that, the last third did indeed take a lot of patience, and when I showed some restraint from the skinny pedal it rewarded me with more than a full second off my best time.

Still wasn't good enough to beat that little Mazda though in NOV, I think it might be time to just start registering in CAM now, I can feel that season trophy slipping away, haha.
