65 indicated. Get someone on the sides with the radar gun (briefcase on the bus) to get your actual speed.

(eg. the speedo in the duff civic will show over 120. GPS shows the car's terminal velocity @ 108.9mph [rev limit in 4th], and 106.4 [HP limit in 5th] -- numbers from VIR and Sebring.)

I'm aware of this discrepency. With the STR wheel/tires mounted, the car's speedometer typically reads between 0 and 1mph below what my phone's internal GPS reads. I haven't seen it read higher while cruising.

Here's my third run, a 63.880+1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA_pSJ9kFkY

Maria Mayorga's FTD was a 65.395. Damn cone!

I'll join the frey.... Here's my 4th and fastest. 66.7 is all I could get the pony to do. BTW, big tip of the hat to Art, rocking 5th place in PAX. Way to go Art!

Fun, fun course! My last and only cone-free run of the day. Congrats to Maria on the win and FTPax.

(Still haven't learned how to put a link in on this forum.)

I was on the limiter for a significant portion of the course in 2nd gear. I tried 3rd in spots on 2 runs but it made for a lot of shifting. A decided disadvantage. It was a fun course either way.

With the six speed NB miata, I tried second and was on the rev limiter the ENTIRE back of the course. I switched to third on my third run and just left it there!

Thanks for the videos and that course looked awesome with minimal hard braking points. The sweeper at the top heading into the lane looked really fun too.

Question, if we register and don't end up making it out, we're not supposed to get charged, right? Looks like I got pinged on Motorsportsreg for $35. Anyway to just get a credit for VMP? thanks!

One of the things that I like about NC CAR is that I can get into third and stay there. I was in 3rd gear by the time the course exited the VDA.

One of these days I am going to turn off my tune and see how different the car feels. I am so under-prepped for BSP and the PAX is absurd.

If memory serves, you're supposed to cancel your registration to avoid getting charged. Registration + No Show = Registration Fee
