We need to clean/organize the bus for the coming season to determine what we need to buy. The link above is to a poll. Check ALL dates that you would be available to help. Use this thread here to brainstorm ideas about what we need to accomplish. I'd like to come in with a plan. A couple of things to start with:

-Check all battery boxes and replace ones that no longer work.
-Check radios for function and battery inventory
-Check timing lights and cables for function
-Clean out trash from filing cabinet
-Discard dash plaques that are more than a year old
-Sweep/mop floor of bus
-Check all fluids on the bus, top off as necessary
-Check tire pressures and tread of bus tires
-Sort through cones and discard those that are too hardened over time
-Check loaner helmets for spider eggs. . .
-Organize waivers, see if we need more

I think that would be "all of them". I'm not 100% sure the solar system is charging them, or they just don't hold a charge anymore. I left two UPS batteries on that shelf with them. (frozen and likely dead too now.)

Functional is hard to test without moving them 1/4mi apart.

I've been meaning to get all of that mess out to test, repair, and re-roll (on this)

There's a much longer mechanical checklist for the bus and trailer. (fluids, battery charge, bearings, brakes, fix the fenders that are falling off the trailer, etc.) We the keepers get back from Barber, we'll have more time to deal with the club bus. (right now, we have our own to prep.)

If it needs bearings and brakes we should probably have a list so parts can get ordered before the day. I think it would be pretty easy to knock all of that stuff out provided the parts are on-site and we have tools.

I'm not saying they need replacing, just that they need to be inspected to see if they need to be replaced.

BTW, none of those are really good days for me. 1/24-25 will be Team Duff prep day for Barber. And 2/7-8 is lemons at Barber.

you guys decide on a day and I'll go from there. Have a bunch of house stuff I'm trying to catch up on, so no day is really good right now.

That's the LeMons @ Barber weekend. At least our parking lot will be mostly empty. :-)

Since you guys will be gone, I assume that's no access to the building, bathrooms or misc stuff we might need. We'd need to bring everything in regard to tools, air compressors and other stuff needed to address the bus. Does someone at least have access to the gate so we can get to the bus?

I can put a key to the building across the street (2808) in the bus so you'll have access to a bathroom. (Little building in front of the storage lot)

PM'd Brice and Rodney the final building access details. (I rented 2808 today, so you'll have to make do at Duff World Headquarters.)

We'll likely be in a race car not carrying phones, so don't set the alarm off.
